Witney supporters attended Didcot in numbers and were soon rewarded as after  only 2 minutes  a well organised driving maul by Witney saw Ryan Harris Touch down and converted By Arron Lambounre . Didcot did reply on 5 minutes with a converted penalty from Josh Witts. Score 3-7. However, Witney were soon on the front foot again and on 12 minutes scored their second try by Arron Lambourne who also converted. Score 3-14.

This seemed to wake Didcot up and they started to put some phases together. On 22 minute quick ball from a breakdown in Witney's 22 enabled James Pike to grubber through Witney's defence for Andrew Pynegar to regather and score under the posts. The try was converted by Josh Witts. Score 10-14. With Didcot now applying pressure, Witney were penalised just outside their 10m line. Josh Witts converted to make the score 13-14. With time running out on the first half, Witney scored a try by Arron lambourne but he missed the conversion   to make the half time score 13-19.

The second half was an fairly event affair. Didcot missed a long range penalty in the 47th minute and 5 minutes later Witney secured the win with a Lloyd Allen Try converted by Lambourne   Score 13-26. Didcot's cause was not helped Isa Mohammed was sent off for his second Yellow card on the 63th minute.as Witney finished strongly with Coach Adam Copperwheat tactically using replacements through out the game.
