Witney 100% record was under threat at Marlow as the home side were clearly up for the game and started brightly securing a penalty from Christian Witney after 6 minutes.

That seem to rock Witney and straight from the kick off Witney got quick ball and Captain Rob Coe was able to go over the Line 3-5 The Conversion against the wind and out wide was missed.Marlow Hit back and after 15 minutes were ahead when a try from William Reynolds and a Conversion from the reliable Witney made the score 10-5.

Witneys top try scorer Rhys Morgan was next to score out wide and the conversion missed 10-10  Another  penalty for the Home side  From Christian Witney made the scores 13-10 Witney sensed the opportunity to get a score before half time and Center Callum Godfrey went over 13-15 Half time. Witney with wind and slope in the favor must have thought they were in for a win.However on the 54 Minute  Christain Witney slotted over another penalty 16-15 a series of substitution from Witney kept the game in witneys grasps but the home defense was resolute but with the Witney pack in control a penalty was awarded to Witney and Tom Puddle kicked over 16-18 with a few minutes left on the clock Witney worked the ball back from a scrum to Center Callum Godfrey to score his second try and with Puddle adding the extras Witney run out winners
