On a very wet day an England inspired Witney took on Reading who were full of confidence after a good home win last time out. Within 3 minutes Arron Lambourne was at the back of a driving maul and dotted down, conversion by Tom Puddle 7-0 This waked Reading up and the next 10 minutes A penalty in front of the post by Alexander Dorliac 7-3 Witney were under the cosh. A disputed try in the corner was given by the away linesman as Robert Cunningham went over conversion missed 7-8.Witney restored the lead when man of the match Lloyd Allen went over Conversion missed 12-8 at half time.
